“Durashine”, asks for only the social login of the end user for verification purpose. For profile creation, the app asks for First Name and Last Name of the end user. When social login is used, following information is requested and encrypted and saved on durashinedashboard.sigmapeiron.com (Backend)

Besides this user is requested to provided Phone Number optionally in case they want to request for a quote so that dealer can contact them. Phone number is also encrypted and stored on durashinedashboard.sigmapeiron.com (Backend)

During on-boarding the information on the region (State/District) of the person is requested to connect them to local dealers. This information too is securely stored on durashinedashboard.sigmapeiron.com (Backend)

As part of Our World feature, user can share images of Durashine product they use in their projects. Since users volunteer to share this information this information is considered as operational data and owned by Tata BlueScope Steel Ltd.

This privacy policy governs your use of the software service and application Durashine, henceforth called as “Application”, for mobile devices that was provided by Tata BlueScope Steel Limited (TBSL). The Application provides option to end use to browse through the products provided and request for quote on the same from local dealers

What information does the Application obtain and how is it used?

  • The Application obtains the information you provide when you download and register the Application. The email address is verified by the Application (either through OTP or using social login). We may also use the information you provided us to contact you from time to time to provide you with important information, required notices and marketing promotions.

  • This Application does not collect any information automatically in the background.

Do third parties see and/or have access to information obtained by the Application?

We may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information:

  • as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process.
  • when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request.

What are my opt-out rights?

You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling the Application. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.

Durashine maintains customer information for the following retention periods:

    Personal Sensitive Information or User Provided Data

  • All such information like name, email address, phone number etc. would be encrypted and stored in database when the account is active.
  • All such data would be deleted after 30 days and within 120 days of permanent termination or deactivation of account
  • During the active phase of the account customer will have access to this data via dashboard and can selectively delete the same if needed.
  • Archive of the data will be provided before if data privacy policy allows to do so based on the industry the customer operates in.

    • Durashine Operation data of non-sensitive nature

  • All such information will be stored in database when the account is active and linked to personal sensitive information using relations
  • All such data would be anonymised after 30 days and within 120 days of permanent termination or deactivation of account
  • This information is retained till the time it is needed for Durashine to pursue legitimate business interests, conduct audits, comply with (and demonstrate compliance with) legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.
  • Archive of this data will not be available.
